It was completely innocent. Humans assume that when a female bites a male it must be some weird sexual thing. For cats it can be for so many more reasons, like imparting an important lesson on a disrespectful kitten. Or spite. Or boredom.
I have a cat, I'm super aware. He bit my foot this morning. I think he objected to the placement of his food dish. The dish HE MOVED with his own head.
The licking was the problem, not the biting. Don't lick liam unless he asks you do.
